WOOHOO. I just bought the new Tool cd at midnight, bitches! Whee! This packaging is insane, what with the stereoscopic images. And "The thing's got heft." as Henry so eloquently put it.

The line at Zia Records was kinda long when Henry and I got there, but it got REALLY long closer to midnight. I attempted to find a common thread among all of us Tool fans, but I gave up after some annoying kid behind us kept bitching and whining about everything.

No one in the line was there for the new Pearl Jam cd. Heh.

So I went on a holy TOOL pilgrimmage (explanation later. and the new CD comes out soon! eee!), got a tattoo of a happy little cartoon bat, and I've started the paperwork for my crafting business. Life is pretty ok.

I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with people's journals lately! i'm such a bad friend! *sad* So a shout out to all of my peeps, yo. I think about all of you when I'm slaving over schoolwork or my crafting table and wish I could call every one of you, just to keep in touch!

It's been a long while, i know, but I've been super busy! First of all, look for gonebattycrafts.com to open sometime in the (quasi) near future. I've been flitting here and there making my amazing gothic crafts and networking my little heart out just so I can spread the goth luv far and wide. I plan on doing some craft shows in the near future, if I can get my act together and do some paperwork/get my website up, etc. Anyway.

In other news, i've been to two masquerade balls these past few months and have made some awesome new friends at Tranzylvania. Also, my birthday came and went with little fanfare but with some very cool gifts; namely a Snakes on a Plane shirt, Van Helsing action figures, cool new boots, and a craft table so my stuff isn't all jammed under my bed. Heh.

I'll update soon with pictures and more tales of my assorted outings.

Also, my 15-year-old cousin is spending this week with my family, so let's all hope he doesn't die of boredom.

So here are six short fics. I forgot that I wrote them for National Novel Writing Month. No, my novel was never finished. It was sort of a concept thing: Conversations Between Fictional Friends. Don't ask me what I was thinking. *shrug* Anyway, here they are. Enjoy them...or don't. Whatever. I'm just happy to be rid of them. Heh.

Using various scrap pieces, I've made something that looks reasonably like this, only in messenger bag form. Yay. In other news, I just sliced my finger open while cutting a particularly wily apple, and I now have an ultra hardcore skull-and-crossbones band-aid on it. Another yay (for the band-aid, not the gaping wound). Also, I got a new Royal Crown Revue cd from Bookman's and it rules. Can I have another yay? Anyway. My hairdresser friend Jeana did my hair last night and it looks pretty nifty. Count me in for another yay. Also, I managed to scare my Af. Lit. class with my enthusiasm over the gory post-mortem lynching photos that were supposed to shock and scare us. Personally, I chalk that up as a "YAY!"

My African Lit. professor continues to be a total asshole, and today the class mocked my interpretation of a poem. To which I say: "SUCK IT!"

Halloween! You know you want to see pictures!Collapse )

In other news, my kitty cat is fine and dandy, and is a big furry handful. Pictures soon to come! Oh, and I caught the first two Horatio Hornblower films on A&E or BIO channel or something. I am HOOKED. Oh, how hooked I am. I just can't even...yah. *mind is blown* My mother's hooked, too, so I shall be expecting the DVDs for Christmas. *explosive joy*

First, write down the names of 12 characters. Then read and answer
the questions. You can't look at the questions (or click on the cut)
until you write down the 12 characters you're going to use.

Here's my list! Hee.Collapse )

Could this be a Miraculous Moving Madonna? Here's an Italian article with a picture and another that's worth looking at just for the caption on the second pic.

Which, naturally, bring me to mention VisionsofJesusChrist.com. Because crying blood is Hard. Core.

Oh, and here's something fun...

Also... I sumbitted an application to be on MTV's True Life: I Have OCD. Don't ask me why, as I usually hate that show. It just seemed like something to do, though I probably won't get to be on the show. I mean, what camera crew in their right minds wants to come out to frickin' 115 degree Arizona in the middle of summer? Heh.
